Powerpoint suddently went black....

While working on presentation and having multiple PPTs open, and after having closed one of those, the remaining ones went black...

If I move over slides they appear again one by one but the right screen (preview) is still black.

Any ideas?

Hi,

There is no such option in my powerpoint.

But the issue seems to be more general, when closing some of the already other opened powerpoint files (especially when all are large).

Another time, it crashed.

See my settings below. Do you mean instead un-check the enable hardware acceleration under display advanced settings?

If you go to PowerPoint Options, and de-select (uncheck) the following option "Use best settings for my display" does this make the issue any better/worse?
