Outlook v15.20 - signature now has image embedded not a link

This is a double post as I'm not sure that I posted in the OficeInsider area before.

This update seems to have screwed up my signature. Until now my signature had one image that was not embedded but a link. Now this behaviour seemed to have changed and the image is embedded in the message. Can we have the old behaviour restored?

    I would agree. Having an official statement from Microsoft in this matter is what is needed. As a whole, it is a shame that there is now a fundamental difference in how Microsoft handles signatures within Outlook between platforms. Be it Office for Mac, PC or Office365. 

    150+ of our employees utilize HTML signatures using Outlook for Windows, and roughly 25 employees using Outlook for Mac are stuck using signatures that are embedded, blurry, and otherwise inconsistent with their Windows counterparts.

    So, i used the internal system within the help menu to report this.

    The help system itself is lovely, and really nicely designed. Esp how you get the notifications as if they're a new email.

    That said, it wasn't much use. Apparently they only support "making signatures in word". Didn't really help that much, and then sent me off to cast a vote on yet another system.

    I think the point has come to advise colleagues that HTML signatures are no longer supported on Mac Outlook, as it appears this is a fruitless endeavour. :(

    On a related note, often the people who use applications on a daily basis know the software on a more practical level then a company. Developers and product managers know their products really well, but a customer sees the product with real data and loads. Working together, things get fixed.

    It's a bit off topic, but this forum is one of several avenues that Microsoft offers for support. In the case of this forum, Microsoft foots the bill for the site, and as you aptly put it, "we help each other get out of the mess."

    Quite often, more eyes and brains put to work on an issue results in a better, faster solution. Microsoft recognizes that fact and therefore we have this forum.
