Outlook v15.20 - signature now has image embedded not a link

This is a double post as I'm not sure that I posted in the OficeInsider area before.

This update seems to have screwed up my signature. Until now my signature had one image that was not embedded but a link. Now this behaviour seemed to have changed and the image is embedded in the message. Can we have the old behaviour restored?

Linked images in signatures should no longer be embedded as of 15.23.  If that is not the case, then we will need to investigate specific scenarios.  We are still working on some image size copy/paste issues; in the meantime, you can re-size images after pasting them into the signature editor (drag the handles or right-click on the image to get more options).

Copied the signature from safari into word and readjusted the font and picture size. The image looks a bit blurry and lighter than the original. When testing, it seems to maintain size and layout just fine in outlook and even gmail. However, the Outlook app on iOS still converts the fonts to time new roman. When one of my team members who is on a windows machine sends the original HTML version we created, Outlook on iOS maintains the fonts just fine.

Here is a side by side of when the sig is sent from a windows machine (original) vs mac (modified in word) on both my outlook for mac and my Outlook on iOS. Obviously the preferred rendering here is the bottom right.

    Thank you.

Resizing via the handles does not help.  The image is being displayed at the correct size.  The issue is that it is blurry rather than retaining a sharp image. The linked image size is roughly 2-3X larger than the display size (resized via html as you can see in original reply) to retain retina compatibility for mobile devices.  This does not seem to be happening in outlook 2016.

any eta on the image blurrynes that you mentioned was already being investigated? Until this is resolved we will be downgrading to our clients to 2011 as we are getting complaints that the signatures are not being displayed correctly.
