AutoUpdate Error - One or more update packages could not be downloaded

I have been having this issue for a couple months around the same time I upgraded to OS X High Sierra (10.13).  Whenever I try to update using auto update I receive the following message: "One or more update packages could not be downloaded.  Please try again.".

I have tried a normal uninstall, the full uninstall, and removal of license but nothing works.  Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have been able to manually update various office applications by waiting until the non insider updates are available online and downloading those packages.  I would like to resolve this issue so that I can start using auto update tool and receive the insider slow updates as well.

    Thanks Jesse.

    So I've been able to download and install MAU 3.15, but the update of the Office apps still fails when the overall progress is at about 50% and I get the same "AutoUpdate Error - One or more update packages could not be downloaded" message.

    Hi Joshua,

    Can you let us know what version and build of Office you are currently running? Also, what version(s) is AutoUpdater trying to update you to?

    Hi Jesse,

    I have Office version 15.41 (171205) and have now successfully updated AutoUpdater to version 3.15 (180116).

    I have "Office Insider Slow" selected in AutoUpdater and Office version that I'm trying to get to is 16.9.0 (18011602).
