AutoUpdate Error - One or more update packages could not be downloaded

I have been having this issue for a couple months around the same time I upgraded to OS X High Sierra (10.13).  Whenever I try to update using auto update I receive the following message: "One or more update packages could not be downloaded.  Please try again.".

I have tried a normal uninstall, the full uninstall, and removal of license but nothing works.  Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have been able to manually update various office applications by waiting until the non insider updates are available online and downloading those packages.  I would like to resolve this issue so that I can start using auto update tool and receive the insider slow updates as well.

    Hi Jesse,

    Slight correction to my earlier reply to Jay ...

    • My subscription is current and I'm able to log in.
    • "Automatically check" was chosen with insider slow; I would be prompted to install updates but when I did, I would get the original error message.  I recently put it on "Manual" as I didn't want to be prompted daily to update
    • Currently on version 3.15 (180116) of autoupdate.  Updated using the link you or Jay posted earlier ... at this point it says there are no updates available
    • Office 16.9 (180116) that I downloaded from the "Update history for Office 2016 for Mac" website.

    Hi Jess,

    Just tried again with same results - fails at about 50%.

    I'm located in Bermuda, which is off the east coast of the US.

    Can you retry the download again, and confirm whether or not the issue persists? Also, what region are you located in?

    Hi Jay,

    My subscription is current and I'm able to log in.

    I had automatic upgrades enabled and joined the insider slow (tried fast to see if it would help but it didn't).

    I was using 3.14.  When 3.15 was made available to download (non-insider) I downloaded it but still having issues.
