Hello there,

After the update from microsoft yesterday the delete button stopped working only when I use powerpoint. On other applications (word, email, excel, notepad) the entire keyboard works without a hitch.

I have a macbook air, and run MacOS high sierra. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried restarting computer.

I also had the keyboard viewer on when I opened the applications (including powerpoint) and the delete button was working, it just wasn't doing what it was suppose to in this specific application.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I just downloaded about 20 minutes ago, version 16.13 (180409) and at least if I insert picture and select it, I can delete it.  The one downloaded a few days ago I could not use the delete key, and in fact, Delete wasn't even on the edit menu.

Download and try out this latest version and see if it works. Now it has to be the one that comes out tonight or available in the morning depending up which insider version or regular version.

    John,

Been running with insider fast on my Mac for some time now.  I'm no stranger to the occasional bug or 3.  However this one does qualify as a bit of a howler and I would expect the devs to be all over it by now.

I can wait for a fix, I think, I git by with powerpoint on the Web this morning.

    Same issue here:

    MACOS: 10.13.4 (17E199)

    Office: 16.13 (180404)

    Please fix asap!

I really don't mean to sound like one of the MSFT help staff but ....

Being in Insider Fast on your main work Mac is not a great idea. Bugs are not usually this bad but they do happen in this channel. "For users who don't mind a bit of a risk using unsupported builds" For me that means on a test machine.

You can revert back to 16.11 and leave the Insider Fast Channel fairly easily by downloading the 16.11 build for PowerPoint, removing just PowerPoint and reinstall.

Make sure you know what you are doing first and don't blame me if you get it wrong! I can confirm the problems go away in 16.11 but you might just want to wait for a fix which I'm sure will be pretty soon.

I have the same issue as well.  Both the keyboard on my air plus my wireless keyboard are not working in the same way as other members state in powerpoint.  Can we roll back?  I am using for work.

    Thanks

    Emma
