- Possible solutions (using Loop with your Organization ID):
- You need to have an Exchange Online **mailbox** associated with your Organization ID. Once you've been provisioned an **Exchange Online mailbox**, and you've signed into it one time, everything that Loop needs from Exchange Online can be set up the next time you try to use Loop. Work with your Microsoft 365 administrator or your help desk to ensure you have an active Exchange Online mailbox.

Microsoft needs to update their documentation then. On this page (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/manage-loop-components#loop-service-requirements) it specifically says an Exchange Online LICENSE, but makes no mention that a mailbox needs to be hosted there as well. No love for on-prem mail users?
"The Loop app currently requires each user to have an Exchange Online license. If not, users will experience failures in the Loop app, be unable to create new Loop workspaces, will not receive notifications or signals when users collaborate and update, and other experiences may also fail."
I have an exchange online license, but not a mailbox hosted online, and receive these errors.
A mailbox hosted in exchange online and a license are VERY different things. Microsoft seems to use these terms interchangeably across multiple products but they are very much not one and the same.
