Outlook 365 for mac version 1615 crashes after update

I am running office 365 on a mac, and the automatic update just updated outlook. I use the office insider fast update. After updating the outlook won't start anymore and crashes immediately on startup. It refers that it can't find :

Library not loaded: @rpath/OLX.framework/Versions/A/OLX

  Referenced from: /Applications/Microsoft Outlook.app/Contents/MacOS/Microsoft Outlook

  Reason: no suitable image found.  Did find:

/Applications/Microsoft Outlook.app/Contents/MacOS/../Frameworks/OLX.framework/Versions/A/OLX: code signature invalid for '/Applications/Microsoft Outlook.app/Contents/MacOS/../Frameworks/OLX.framework/Versions/A/OLX'

/Applications/Microsoft Outlook.app/Contents/MacOS/../Frameworks/OLX.framework/Versions/A/OLX: stat() failed with errno=1

outlook updated into:

Identifier:            com.microsoft.Outlook

Version:               16.15 (16.15.18060505)

any ideas or suggestions how to fix, without completely reinstalling. I run 5 email accounts, and in total 10Gb of mailboxes, which I don't want to reinstall.

    Lets try this:

    • From the Terminal, run the following command: codesign -vv --deep /Applications/Microsoft\

    Outlook.app

    • After ~30 seconds, you should see the following message:

    /Applications/Microsoft Outlook.app/: valid on disk

    /Applications/Microsoft Outlook.app/: satisfies its Designated Requirement

    • If you don't see those messages, a reinstall is required. This is a "light" reinstall, and won't require you to backup files or remove a lot of extra files.
    • Launch Finder and go to the Applications folder.
    • Delete "Microsoft Outlook.app"
    • Download the latest version of Outlook from the page here and then reinstall. This will rebuild the app package and resolve the issue.

    Once you've reinstalled, you can then check for updates and it should find the latest Insider Fast update for you again.
