I have an Office 365 subscription through my work, after recently updating Office, every time I now open Word, Excel or PowerPoint, I am prompted to sign in and activate the product. When I try to, I get this error “Another account from your organisation is already signed in on this device". I have tried multiple suggestions as follow : Delete all Keychain entries relating to Office Uninstall Office and reinstall it via portal.office.com Install removal license tool Remove all Outlook accounts and add them (as suggested here https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/word-and-excel-keep-prompting-for-activation-every/a055b722-574f-4dbc-974d-a8a336a119e7?messageId=c0435c83-9040-4180-8a22-d8f5850509c1 ) My Office apps are all up to date and I am running macOS Monterey Version 12.6. Excel for Mac version is 16.68. Thank you for your support. i had a similar problemand tried all these methods but nothing worked. eventually i deleted all the application alll together. and added the account t i was using in my accounts in settings appm in mac os. after which i re installed word and logged into it like i normally would and it worked just fine.

This is what worked for me. It solved the problem without any downloads, installations or re-installations.

Try changing your account password.

No I have never shared my passwords - I am only having this issue with Word, Excel and Powerpoint. I can can login to all other MS apps without any issue. I have tried logging in with different details (I made myself a new licence) and the same thing happens. I have done all steps that MS recommend and still nothing....

Did you ever share your username and password with anyone? Perhaps changing your account password will allow you to get in and block that other account.

Did you ever share your username and password with anyone?

Perhaps changing your account password will allow you to get in and block that other account.
