Word can't print due to a problem with the printer setup

MS Word for Mac version 16.14
No changes to system. Word update installed yesterday, since that time, Word alone can't print from the system, pops this error each time before the print dialogue. Will not print. Other MS Office products still working fine (excel, etc). Printing from any other application on system also works fine. Reboot did not help either.
Any other ideas?

2018-06-07T17:18:13+00:00 Piling on just for the record. Same issue as everyone else. Open, print, get message, get a printout, then only messages afterwards with no printout. After the first message and printout, the preview in the print window is blank from that point forward.
Word 16.14 (180602) with a CanonMF634CDW.

2018-06-06T19:58:49+00:00 Having the same problem as anyone else. "Best thing" I have access to four printers and happening to all of them. The only thing that is working is opening and fully closing Word after every single print. It allows me to print once I restart the program, but just one time. Then I must restart it from scratch again. Happening since the last update. Hope they fix it soon and send the new update asap.
