Word can't print due to a problem with the printer setup

MS Word for Mac version 16.14
No changes to system. Word update installed yesterday, since that time, Word alone can't print from the system, pops this error each time before the print dialogue. Will not print. Other MS Office products still working fine (excel, etc). Printing from any other application on system also works fine. Reboot did not help either.
Any other ideas?

2018-06-13T17:23:25+00:00 Just found a nifty-ish work round: File>Save As>File Format>PDF. Once you have selected PDF, be sure to select "best for electronic distribution...." NOT "best for printing". Then press EXPORT. I've tried it several times & it does seem to work - at least until MS decide to update the app and it all goes pear shaped again.

2018-06-13T16:57:26+00:00 Installed the latest Word update a couple of days ago v16.14 (180610). Having same problem as everyone else. Running High Sierra v10.13.4, Epson printer XP-800. Not getting any further update notifications from Word 16.14 & the problem began with that update. Get off your backsides Microsoft & fix this. Am getting really really p***ed off with the problems your software & support have given me.

Could you confirm for me what version and build of Word you are now running? You can see that by going to the Word > About Word menu. It should look like "Version 16.xx (xxxxxx)".
