Outlook search bar moved to the title!?

Regarding your description, kindly try this following suggestion for resolving the issue and please feel free to contact us with updated result about the issue.

1.       Please try to open outlook in safe mode and check the result. For opening outlook in safe mode > press Windows +R key and Type outlook.exe /safe.

Note: There is a space between outlook.exe and /safe.

2.       Kindly try to reset the Outlook view. For resetting Outlook view > Press Windows R Key and type outlook.exe /cleanviews.

Note: There is a space between outlook.exe and /cleanviews.

3.       If the issue still persist, please try to repair an Office application online and check the result. For repairing office application https://support.office.com/en-us/article/repair-an-office-application-7821d4b6-7c1d-4205-aa0e-a6b40c5bb88b

Sorry to say microsoft, but this change is absolutely a "no go"!

please argument the following question:

searching the concrete folder: old times, it was above the columns.

and now?? it moved outside?? far mouse movement... (and pls dont argue: you can press F3!!!)

completely strange, no understanding for this from my side nor our customers!!!!

please provide an option to place it, where it was....

why do you try to change "running interaktion" and therfore let your users feel uncomfortable.....

it's annoying and useless!!

Why can't they just add an option for "legacy" or "classic". This new version doesn't even let you select a specific mailbox to search anymore?!

May I know how I can solve it, please?

Any update on when MS will reverse this decision.

Getting fed up with having to disappoint customers by saying its MS we can't really do much about it..

I'm not going to complain to much as I also hate the new location, as I have had 2 google suite migrations where this was the final straw item to leave 365.

It will not be reversed. MS was very clear about that a few months back. On the Outlook Uservoice site, a suggestion to make the Outlook Search usable again (including placement) had thousands and thousands of votes and so many people wrote there too. Can't give a link cause MS removed it.

In the end Microsoft reacted that the change is there to stay because " ... it is a unified search for the whole Office package" and closed the suggestion despite all the 100% legit complaints and suggestions.

In other words: product first, customer somewhere dangling below :( And here is a huge MS finger for ya all (sorry, that's how it feels towards the average user who has no use what so ever for a unified package)
