Excel 16.97 update error

Hi, I am getting an update error installing Microsoft Excel 16.97 on Mac OS Sequoia. I am currently on 16.96. The install stops near the end of the progress bar for a long time and then I get an update error.

I've had similar issues before and resolved by installing from the pkg file but I can't find the 16.97 install file.

Is it possible to download a pkg file?

    Hi guy,

    I've same issue on my Mac Os Sequoia 15.4.1.

    Unable to update from 16.95 to 16.97.

    It take too long time to install and at the end it goes to same "Update error".

    I've just downloaded and installed fresh copy of MAU, but nothing is changed.

    Even if you try to update a single application, the end is the same (not only Excel).

    I've already tried disk check and repair but no solution.

    On other Mac, same Os version, no proplem to update...

    Hope you are doing well.

    Thank you for confirming that one, Mike. For this one, as you have submitted the reported Excel update to the Help option. Please inform that this still be an issue with us on the server which need to notify with our developers to fix it. I totally understand how important this with you but no worries, as we have submitted all things needed, hope soon it, will be fix.
