Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

We sincerely apologize for the experience you had, due to the recent regression!

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

Again, thank you for helping us improve our product!

Thanks!

Lishan

    Here's the issue:

Before update to version 16.14 what you saw on the screen is what printed out.

After updating to version 16.14 object lines thinner than 5 pt are not printed correctly.

See attached scans for the results after printing the same slide from version 16.13.1 and version 16.14.

This is not machine specific as it is the same on all who have updated.

Again, on screen everything looks fine, it's only when printing that things go wrong.

    Need a bug fix.

    Thanks in advance.

    OK. thanks for the investigation.

I will wait for a fix, since I can print with my desktop instead

    regards

Hi, since the last update of PPT the PDF export is only of low quality. Even the settings are set to high quality.

    • Lines which are thin in PPT are block-style in the PDF
    • Circles are round in PPT but ellipses in the PDF

This is very annoying as we need to create good PDF files from our presentations.
