Powerpoint 16.15 (180530) Save as PDF - images are blurry

Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

    Anyone have an idea how long it typically takes for a release to get from Office Insider Fast to the standard release that everyone gets? A few days, weeks, or months?

    Keep in mind that the steps from "isaacchambers" will offer you version 16.15 of all of the office applications (not just PowerPoint).  You do not have to install all of the applications (but can if you want to).  You can select "just" PowerPoint and then you can follow the "IMPORTANT" caveat in his steps.  There is always some risk when installing updates and installing Office Insider Fast build increases that risk.  If you use your computer as your main work device, you may want to be careful on how much risk you are willing to assume.

    Your mileage may vary.

    I can confirm that the line/underline/pattern thickness issue is now corrected in the latest Office Insider Fast build version 16.15 (180618). In order to get the update you must be opted in to receive the Office Insider Fast builds.

    1. Check for updates via the Help menu

    1. Tick the "Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases" and then select "Office Insider Fast" from the dropdown list.

    1. Click "Check for Updates" and proceed to download/install available updates.

    **IMPORTANT:**Office Insider Fast builds contain a preview of features and therefore may introduce other issues/instabilities. If you want to correct this immediate issue but do not want Insider builds going forward, first update the software via the above steps, THEN repeat the process to deselect the Office Insider builds.
