Pressing Ctrl + C only lets you copy the conversation. I cannot give specific examples because my work is confidential but. This is the reddit post that is talking about the issue I am talking about. Copying Sender Information No Longer a Thing? : r/MicrosoftTeams (reddit.com)

Microsoft isn't listening they don't care. They ram-rod **** like this and do not care spit about the productivity hit by doing this, as well as other unwelcome features. Windows and Teams are now and will always be a garbage product because of the elitist attitude of the engineers and developers. No one asked for this ****, so you can stop this now, Microsoft. Crickets.

Please fix this. Being able to copy/paste the message with the timestamp was great. Lots IT people use this feature for documentation purposes.

    Allow me to clarify Melissa.

I think the feature you referred to was annoying when only trying to copy one reply for a specific thing in that line like a URL or a date and time.

If you were trying to copy JUST the URL or JUST the date&time, it would append a massive chunk of text you then had to backspace.

when people are copying entire chat logs, they would like to have the log of who said what/when attached as well.

We would, in fact, like BOTH features.

    1. Copying multiple replies of the same log should give us a back and forth with timestamps.
    2. Copying a part of one reply should let us just copy that part.

Even a button to make it optional would be great.
