As of yesterday, the display of my teams will no longer collapse the left side panel. I've tried settings, restarting the app, and restarting the computer. It used to open after selecting one of the options next to it, like chat or teams and then it would automatically close after I selected what I wanted from those options. How do I get it to collapse again?

@Ruben Ososrio-Sanders, that has nothing to do with what everyone is complaining about. Previously, the list of chats could be hidden, now it always shows up between the list of Team Apps and the content and cannot be hidden. I don't have the arrows the original responder is talking about, and have the latest version of Teams installed
You have Microsoft Teams version 24295.607.3241.5057. You've got the latest version. It was last checked on 11/21/2024.The client version is 49/24110115713.
Okay, here we go.
In the teams menu, select your team. Then select the folder where your file is. Then click on your file (it will be on the top of the screen)once it is opened (in the smaller screen with the left pane open) there is a small downward arrow next to the name of the file (on top of the screen). Click this arrow, and select expand tab.
You're welcome :)
I sure hope so. I haven't had any issues for past 3 days. Fingers crossed this is a done issue lol
THEY FIXED IT!
None of the so-called solutions worked for more than past the end of a day. Always, the next morning it was back to not collapsing unless I zoomed to at least 115% - I prefer 80%. After weeks of putting up with it, I just moments ago clicked the blue dot to do another update and it's working properly again. Thank you. (Hopefully, it will still be working tomorrow.)
