Unable to collapse the left side panel in teams anymore

As of yesterday, the display of my teams will no longer collapse the left side panel. I've tried settings, restarting the app, and restarting the computer. It used to open after selecting one of the options next to it, like chat or teams and then it would automatically close after I selected what I wanted from those options. How do I get it to collapse again?

    I have uninstalled/reinstalled teams. During that process i rebooted, and the issue still comes back.

    I have reset teams and deleted the files mentions in different posts that has no worked.

    Is this a timeline on when this will be fixed? This feature was amazing for using teams on half of your laptop screen.

    If TEAMS is controlled by your IT dept, they may have to push the update out.
