Unable to collapse the left side panel in teams anymore

As of yesterday, the display of my teams will no longer collapse the left side panel. I've tried settings, restarting the app, and restarting the computer. It used to open after selecting one of the options next to it, like chat or teams and then it would automatically close after I selected what I wanted from those options. How do I get it to collapse again?

Has this been reliably fixed for anybody? I still cannot find the setting in my teams client and it's not possible to drag the sidebar anywhere... this is just bad design overall.

The only way to get this resolved is to vote. Get everyone in your company to vote. It will get no traction if you do not do your part.

It will work until you reboot or it updates again. It's only a temp fix unfortunately.
