How can I fix the notification banner position for the new Microsoft Teams?

Hi,

I just installed the new Microsoft Teams and I noticed that the notification banner is displaying a bit off. It would be great if it were displayed in the lower-rightmost part of the screen (just like from the Teams classic).

    Microsoft, as others have said, it has now been 7 months since this issue was posted here (and I'm sure the issue was raised elsewhere earlier), and so far the only information you have communicated about this issue has been wrong. Also, as others have said, it should be a simple fix. I hate the position of the notification box as it is intrusive and distracting to my workflow. But equally, I cannot switch off notifications. I have, thus far, avoided the frustrations by sticking with the Old Teams. Now I see that from 1 July, I will have no choice but to migrate to the new Teams. You need to urgently provide a fix and respond to the comments in this thread. It is outrageous that you are forcing people to migrate when this simple issue remains unaddressed.

    THE CLASSIC TEAMS ARE ENDING ON JULY 1ST AND THERE ARE STILL UPDATES WITH THIS CASE. HAVE IT FIX MICROSOFT

    Our office just switched to new Teams and immediatly I was annoyed by this.

    How come it's March 2024 and there is no solution?

    Same issue here, extremely frustrating that basic features in the New Teams are just nonexistent and how there is no acknowledgement from Microsoft.

    Accroding to your description, to change the position of the notification banner in the new Microsoft Teams, you can follow these steps:

    1. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the Teams app.
    2. Select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
    3. Click on "Notifications" in the left-hand menu.
    4. Scroll down to the "Banner and email" section.
    5. Under "Banner notification position," select "Bottom right" from the drop-down menu.

    This should change the position of the notification banner to the lower-rightmost part of your screen.
