I am facing the problem in exactly the same scenario
hi,
I'm having the same issue as well. I just changed company and before this it was working well, but once switch over to new company email address, my phone teams app notification is just not showing even when there is chat. I didn't turn on any block notification feature and all notifications enabled. the only notification that I am receiving is meeting reminder. Can somebody help?
Install and uninstalling app, even with sign in and out doesn't help at all
same here. still no solution
Hello Thomas,
I regret to learn of the inconvenience you are experiencing with your notifications. Allow me to provide some additional troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue:
Verify Do Not Disturb Settings: Kindly navigate to Settings > Do Not Disturb and ensure that Do Not Disturb is turned off. If this feature is enabled, notifications will not be received.
Background App Refresh (Teams): Navigate to Settings > General > Background App Refresh and verify that it is enabled for Microsoft Teams. This will allow the app to refresh in the background and receive notifications.
Reset All Settings (Advanced): This step will reset all settings on your iPhone, not affecting data or content. To proceed, navigate to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. After completion, follow the prompts and reconfigure your preferences, including notification settings.
Check for Restrictions: Navigate to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions and verify that Allow Notifications is not restricted.
Check Your Network Connection: Inadequate network connectivity may also affect notifications. Ensure you have a stable internet connection, either Wi-Fi or cellular data.
Sign Out and Sign Back In: Open the Teams app, tap your profile picture at the top left, scroll down and select Sign Out. Sign back in with your Microsoft account.
Test with Another Account: To identify if the issue is specific to your account, log in to Teams with a different account (if possible) and verify if notifications work.
Please remember to restart your iPhone after implementing any changes. I hope that these steps will be beneficial in resolving the issue, and we appreciate your patience.
Kind regards, Segunfunmi.
