Teams on iPad video rotated 90 degrees when using external display (iPad OS 16.2)

Hi all, I have a strange issue when using an external display (Dell S2721DS connected via USB-C to HDMI cable) on an iPad Pro M1 11".

If Teams is on the external display (extended, not mirrored), my outgoing video is rotated 90 degrees so I appear sideways to others in the call. When I move the Teams app to the iPad display it reverts back to the correct orientation.

This is also happening with Zoom, but not FaceTime. Can anyone else replicate this behaviour, or does anyone know a fix for it?

Same issue here IPad Pro 11 M2… Also IpadOS 17 - Teaqms does not support external camera when FaceTime does….

For Microsoft to implement this feature in upcoming release, there should be enough votes to prioritise this issue.

There is a thread already created by Daniel Clark with subject “iPad OS 16.2 External Display and Video Calls”.
