Teams on iPad video rotated 90 degrees when using external display (iPad OS 16.2)

Hi all, I have a strange issue when using an external display (Dell S2721DS connected via USB-C to HDMI cable) on an iPad Pro M1 11".

If Teams is on the external display (extended, not mirrored), my outgoing video is rotated 90 degrees so I appear sideways to others in the call. When I move the Teams app to the iPad display it reverts back to the correct orientation.

This is also happening with Zoom, but not FaceTime. Can anyone else replicate this behaviour, or does anyone know a fix for it?

    Guys i tried using an external cameral and it works well.

    Seems that the software issue is with iPad Camera.

    @microsoft take a look at it.

    I have the same problem with my Ipad Pro 13" M4

    When not connected to a monitor it works fine, but when connecting it it turns 90 degrees and I cannot change it.

    I would suggest adding the option to rotate it yourself in settings, giving more control, not everything has to be done automatically.

    Issue still there with Teams camera rotated 90 degrees on extended screen (Stage Manager) on iPad Air M2. Seems like it was fixed for older iPads, but now that the camera is centered horizontally, seems the fix does not apply on new models.

    Bug exists again.
