Side Scrollbar disappears frequently in the New Teams

Having the same issue as already raised by others. New Teams version, scroll bar disappeared. It only shows up for seconds when switching between chats and groups. It's hard to get to a group which is far down listed.

Scroll bar also gone within a chat. Need to use the up/down key to find relevant comment within a chat.
Switched back to old Teams version and everything is back fine.

Having the same issue...

I have Microsoft Teams version 23335.232.2637.4844. You've got the latest version. It was last updated on 2/12/2024.The client version is 49/23111630013.

So the most recent update isn't fixing the issue.

I just got version 24004.1307.2669.7070(preview) installed. The issue with the scrollbar is now solved. It will always be visible now.

I have not experienced this issue and was just recently upgraded to version 24004.1307.2669.7070 as part of the targeted early release.

However, I suggest possibly trying this to see if it helps. I find it annoying that the scrollbars in all of the apps disappear at all. This change will stop that from happening. It may solve this issue until MS can get it fixed.

Try turning this on - Start > Settings > Accessibility > Always show scrollbars
