Gif button has gone missing. How do I get it back?

I appear to be the only one on our team (suddenly and inexplicably) missing the Gif button on my Teams desktop App/browser. It appears the same when I log on via edge. Where has my GIF button gone and how do I get it back?

    The gif button has returned when switching back to old teams, but is removed when moving back to new Teams. Seeing as new Teams will be forced on everyone in the very near future, I've decided to use this workaround...

    [1] In a web browser, go to giphy.com.

    [2] Search for gifs there.

    [3] Right-click on the gif you want and select "Copy Image".

    [4] Go back to your teams chat, position the cursor where you want to insert the gif.

    [5] Press CTRL and V together to paste the gif.

    Longwinded? Yes.

    Ideal? No.

    Better than not having any gifs? It certainly is!

    Yeah that's exactly how my Teams now looks whilst my colleagues still have the full menu of options

    This seems tied to an update.

    This picture was pulled from this thread. NO GIF OPTION - Microsoft Community

    We have had it slowly creep through our organization as people lost their GIFs. It seems a few people have gained the access back after some time. Here's hoping it just takes time for the rest of the organization to follow suit.

    This would be a great solution if I could even find the "Connected Experiences" options under Settings >Privacy.
