Why is my "Notify when available" missing when I click on a user in Teams?

This is what is missing from a user we support.

Hello WilliamHicks6,

The Notify when available feature is not available in the new Teams. Currently, you will need to select a user’s avatar or profile photo anywhere in new Teams to quickly get an overview of their online status, next available calendar slot in Outlook, work hours, local time, or work location either remote or in office.

Thanks,

Then why isn't this noted in the Article you posted? E.g the "activity tab in chat" it is mentioned that it is "no longer available".
If removing the "Notify when available" isn't a bug but rather a (for most of us not understandable) decision you've made, then please state it.

This feature was needed if a user is in a call and you don't want to check every five minutes whether he's finished the call so that you can give him a call.

This feature is too useful to be missed. Switching when available, or the old Teams no longer works.

    Please install!

I'm in the same unfortunate situation, Rani, and you make a good point. Our company is moving over 100% to new Teams April 1 and our computers will be blocked from reverting to Classic. I'm not voting against new just because it's new and I like the old,, but it seems MS is not listening about users discontent over losing this feature.

I also agree with Howard_DJ that this is not about requesting a feature that didn't exist in the first place. I'm going to continue using Classic until we're forced to change - or MS puts the feature in new Teams.

That was one of the most useful functions in Teams. Please consider putting this feature back...it is awfully disappointing when a popular and useful feature is removed from an "upgrade".
