Hi,
A college recorded and sent a short video clip in Teams chat. The clip was recorded by a mobile device directly from the recording function in Teams chat: Send a video clip in Teams - Microsoft Support
I can view the video clip the Teams chat, but I want to download the file. The file is not in the "file" tab in the chat.
How can I download the video file from the chat?

This is a great workaround, thanks! I was able to forward the video by using the phone app
I had the same issue today on the Teams Desktop app.
My annoying workaround was also to open the mobile app and first press play to view the video in fullscreen. Then a share button appears on the top right corner. Pressed that and shared it to my OneDrive. Not pretty.
