Manually Hide Teams Tool Bar during Presentations, or move it out of the way

Y'all closed the last thread about this so I'm opening a new one. The problem is still the same and the implementation still gets in the way of people doing business with your tool. What I don't understand is why the previous thread was closed with so many people over years complaining of the same problem. The toolbar getting in the way leads to wasted time telling others to wait to proceed so you can see what is on the screen. Come on, Microsoft, you can fix this.

A new post to reflect that this has been discussed and responded to numerous times in the thread "Hiding Teams Control Task Bar (at Bottom of Teams Screen) During a Meeting (So Screenshot of Shared Screen is Clean)". Despite being in the 'answered' state, this is still a major problem. The core problem is not related to screen shots, but usage in general.

The Teams Tool Bar is constantly in the way of presentations. Either my own, or the presenters. A mechanism is required to allow the user to manually hide, move or pin elsewhere the Teams Tool bar. 

Please fix.

    This isn't an option - when i want to switch browser tabs, when the taskbar disappears, it just reappears again. Same with Visual Studio - I have to waste time resizing my VS window, just to be able to click any of the top toolbar options.
    This is a major inconvenience as the Teams toolbar is almost completely useless for me, because when I want to do something in it, I just change the active window to the meeting one. As far as I have seen 17 of 20 have told me (me included) that the top screen part in meetings, while screensharing is unusable.

    At least let us change the position of it (to the sides, bottom, anywhere) or disable it, or pin or minimize it...anything

    Have the same issue everyday and its embarrassing to flounder with it every time... Can't switch tabs if I can't minimize or hide the task bar on the screen I'm sharing...

    I use New Teams and what do is:

    1. click on anywhere on the bar that is not a button or the pin itself
    2. then press CTRL+W
    3. bingo! it is gone :-)

    Hi,

    I agree - this issue is really super annoying and I'm constantly force to minimize the size of the browser window just to get to the tab becase of this annoying control bar...

    Hello,

    Here is the solution:

    1. Click somewhere in the "You're Sharing" Bar (I prefer somewhere in the background to avoid clicking a button, but anywhere works)

    2. Press CTRL+W

    The bar should disappear/close. This way, you don't have to restructure your browser or display layouts, and you do not have to share a window; you can still share your full screen.

    Do make sure that you have selected / are active in that "You're Sharing" bar's window, as it will close whichever window you are currently using. So if you miss the bar, you risk closing the Teams meeting window.

    ** NOTE: This closes the bar only for that instance. If you stop sharing and then re-share your screen, or start sharing in a different meeting, you will have to repeat the process every time **

    I hope this helps! I spent a week trying to figure this out, and after a team discussion, one of my team members (somehow) found this solution, so I cannot take credit. I just remember seeing many others frustrated with the same issue I had, so I figured I would come back and share!
