I have notice that the spell check seems to be broken on the new Teams version. The incorrectly spelled word still gets underlined in red, and a suggestion list populates as it used to, but the suggestions are ridiculous. A perfect example is the word "definitely".

What version of Windows are you running?
You can go to Start > Run and type "Winver" to see.
Include the Version & Build number.
Windows 11 - which is where the issue reported was occurring - needed an update to correct this issue.
To clear cache - you must go to %localappdata%\packages\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe\Localcache\Microsoft\MSTeams and delete the contents of that folder - while signed out of Teams.
Will they fix it?! Its been so bad for a while.
I am expecting the MS Office Dictionary/Spellcheck system to disappear with an update any day now.
