I have my Microsoft Teams set to open up automatically when my computer starts, however, whenever it starts up the 'Chat' tab is always showing first. How can I make it so that the 'Teams' tab is what's shown when it first opens up. This is ever since switching to the new version.

Navigate to installed apps - Teams Machine wide installer - Modify
Scroll up to Microsoft Teams - Reset - Repair - Terminate
Restart Teams
This isn't what we're actually ASKING for, which is the ability to select what screen Teams starts up in, but for the first time in (I don't know how long), Teams is not starting up in a chat I had weeks before. It's now starting up in the oh-goody-goody little cloud "this is your space" screen, but if I arrow back a single screen, I'm where I left off and want to be - the Teams "Manage Teams" list. I'll take it, though why MS thinks I'm going to share random thoughts with a cloud is beyond me. I'm using the PC desktop version.
lol...I like the sarcasm. But what happens if you Quit? I am running the same version and fully quitting the application and reopening it causes it to open in....drumroll....NOT THE TAB I WANT.
THEY DID IT! They f@*&$#§ did it in a year! 10/18/23 was the first post in this thread. It's 10/13/24 and after countless feedbacks and posts I wrote all over the place during that year, they really did it! Unbelievable! I bow to Microsoft's unreal efficiency. I'm using the macOS version, licensed from the university where I work, just updated to version 24256.2503.3156.9924 (a wonderful designation by the way). And guess what? Finally, when I hide the Teams window (red cross button), it opens where it left off before closing!!! AMAZING! I'm just now going to upgrade to Sequoia. Wish me luck guys! :D :D
Ugh, I went to the last page of this post foolishly hoping there was finally going to be a fix. It was too much to hope for.
