i dont see the option for fireworks

The fireworks live reaction is not available in all versions of Microsoft Teams. It is currently only available in the latest version of the app for iOS and Android devices. If you're using an older version of the app, you won't see the fireworks option.

You can check which version of the Teams app you're using by going to Settings > About. The version number will be listed under Version.

If you're using the latest version of the app and you still don't see the fireworks option, it's possible that your organization has disabled it. You can check with your IT administrator to see if this is the case.

So I already got the hang of

1. one thumbs up - thumb up appears in an bubble
2. two thumbs up - fireworks

And then today I made balloons appear by accident, but couldn't work out how that happened. What do you do to make balloons appear and where is the official guidance on this?

I think this is an OSx thing....
