I have a user that is getting this error when trying to create a new Team in the Teams beta version. I was having it as well until I cleared my cache. Unfortunately, the same fix did not work for them. Any ideas?

This issue is happening on both Teams.com and the the application. This looks like an issue Microsoft needs to resolve. Perhaps focusing on getting it working on Teams.com will resolve the issue for the app also. The work around for me so far is to create the Teams via Teams Admin Center but manually creating each team this way I'm sure is not a viable solution for large enterprises. Clearing cache, signing out then back in do not resolve this issue. under Teams policies I have "Create private channels" & "Create shared channels" enabled. I can't see any policies to allow the use of the "Create team" function in teams. Please fix this Microsoft.
Shelly,
I just tried this, but it didn't work for my user who is experiencing the same issue - they can create a team in Microsoft Teams via their phone app, but not in the Teams desktop client or on the web.
Thank you for posting this solution. Hopefully, it will help others.
Thanks!

Hello, Chris
Thank you for reaching out Microsoft Community. I am an advisor that can provide help regarding MS teams concerns. I totally understand your concern and yes, this issue with the New Teams beta version is having an issue in creating New Teams. If the clear cache doesn't work, please try to delete the local teams folder in your Teams folder. Also, as an alternative, you can use the Teams mobile app version to create New Teams.
I advice you to create a feedback ticket for this. So that the Microsoft teams will get notified and provide an update regarding this issue. Please leave your feedback here: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/

Hi Chris,
That's frustrating, it sounds like you've taken most of the common troubleshooting steps already. Here are a few additional things you can try before having the user report it to Microsoft:
Reinstall Teams Beta: A clean reinstall of the Teams Beta app might resolve any underlying issues.
Check for Updates: Even though it's a beta, there might be a newer version available that fixes the issue. Make sure the user is running the latest version of Teams Beta.
Try a Different Account: If possible, try creating a new Team using another user account on the same device. This will help identify if the issue is specific to the user account or the environment.
