Microsoft Teams Room version 5.2.115.0 bug: Teams Room account can't login

Hello,

I work as an AV integrator and we currently have roughly 100 Microsoft Teams Room machines installed.

Since last tuesday we have been notified of multiple rooms (10 so far) where the Microsoft Teamsroom account cannot login.

All these rooms have in commen that the Microsoft Teams Room application has been updated (automatically) to version 5.2.115.0

Previous versions of the Microsoft Teams Room application do not show these issues.

Is there a way we can downgrade these machines to an older working version?

Hope to hear from you soon.

We've had an open support ticket for weeks, yet the response has been minimal and lacking any real progress. Frankly, we’re disappointed in the quality of support from Microsoft, especially given the ongoing impact on our customers and the many other customers on this forum as well.

We’ve tried the workarounds, but we need an actual fix, not temporary solutions. The lack of communication and delay in addressing this issue is unacceptable. We expect far better support from Microsoft, and we need this issue to be prioritized and resolved as soon as possible.

after so many peoply complaining that App Version 5.2.115.0 is stuck at loading into the account, you are not aware of that yet?

We are right now re-imaging all devices with Win10 IOT, so that at least the systems work again.

After reinstallation, the Teams Room App Version is on 4.14.24.0.

I belief that it will get stuck again, if the App Version gets updated to the latest 5.2.115.0.

I don't understand, why every company is still rolling out untested updates after the crowdstrike incident.

This issue description is about a different error message "Teams is experiencing an error."

    Issue Description:

You update the Teams Rooms app on your Teams Rooms for Windows device to version 5.2.115.0. As soon as the update is installed, the device console displays the following error message:

    Teams is experiencing an error.

Even after restarting the device, the Teams Rooms app doesn't start.

Our message says the following: "It's taking longer than expected. We'll keep trying. You can restart or contact your admin."

So that means these are two separate issues.

This issue has been resolved. Here’s what worked for us:

    1. Reset the Teams Room app and cleared the login information.
    2. Removed the license and reassigned it after a couple of hours.
