Double beep when muted on Teams Shokz Headset

Hello

I see a lot of threads and people moaning about Double beep when muted on Teams when using a Shokz headset which is the problem I have. (Headset previously called AfterShokz)

I use a work computer so do not have admin rights, and muting shoks headset by pressing the +/- volume keys does not stop the beeping noise.

Any help would be appreciated.

    unpair the Shokz device and repair. hope that help

    thanks - this worked - to at least stop the annoying beep - but now my headset is not using the microphone anymore - I cannot re-activate the "handsfree telephony" anymore (get error message "The parameter is incorrect")...

    tried several things, disconnect, delete the device, re-connect,... cannot activate the microphone anymore...

    any idea how to fix? thanks!

    After unchecking "Handsfree Telephony" the microphone can no longer be used by Teams, and checking it back on isn't possible. That causes like others have written "The parameter is incorrect" (Bluetooth Service Error). Unpairing and re-pairing doesn't resolve the problem, so no microphone anymore 😫.

    OK - after restarting my PC I was able to check "Handsfree Telephony" back on, so that leaves me back where I started: Not able to mute without annoying beeps. No matter how I mute ("Fn+F4" - "MIC buton" - "Device Settings inside Teams")

    This method just solved my double beep for a week. Later that my problem come back again.

    At first, my headset cannot use microphone. I decided to remove my headset the install back again, then follow this step. But doesn't work anymore.

    So, I am trying other way that may resolve this problem. If I can fix this problem, I will share again.
