Double beep when muted on Teams Shokz Headset

Hello

I see a lot of threads and people moaning about Double beep when muted on Teams when using a Shokz headset which is the problem I have. (Headset previously called AfterShokz)

I use a work computer so do not have admin rights, and muting shoks headset by pressing the +/- volume keys does not stop the beeping noise.

Any help would be appreciated.

    PRESS VOLUME UP AND DOWN BUTTON ON HEADSET AT THE SAME TIME FOR TWO SECONDS.

    That used to work. It doesn't anymore for the newer ones.

    Thanks for the update. Mine was purchased in 2022 in case people are trying to get context for 'older' vs 'newer'

    It works fine for me. Microsoft Teams would die 1000 brutal deaths if it wasn't a Microsoft product. The got more bugs than the WEF.

    Not limited to Windows. Happened on a Mac with MS Teams in browser.

    For What it's worth, using OpenRun - Shokz, the volume up + Volume down at the same time worked to stop the beeping
