Hello
I see a lot of threads and people moaning about Double beep when muted on Teams when using a Shokz headset which is the problem I have. (Headset previously called AfterShokz)
I use a work computer so do not have admin rights, and muting shoks headset by pressing the +/- volume keys does not stop the beeping noise.
Any help would be appreciated.

This actually muted the real audio from the Teams meeting and the beeping continued. I do not recommend taking this advice.

So, using the buttons doesn't seem to work on the new headsets. The issue can be taken care of in the All Settings area for Windows. Go to Sound. Under Output, click on Device Properties. On the right hand side you'll see Additional Device Properties. Click on that. Go to the Advanced tab. Uncheck the box that says "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device". And the mute beep will be off.
I tried this on Windows 10 with no luck. I selected my AfterShokz for the input device under sound, selected "Device Properties and Test Microphone", followed by "Additional Device Properties", and unchecked the box. It took about ten seconds, but I still heard the beep. I tried it multiple times with no luck. I was hopeful, as I hadn't seen this setting mentioned before.

Interesting, I assumed that since iOS version was working it was isolated to Windows. Seems to be more specifically a Teams issue. Very frustrating for sure, I will have to see if I have the option to warranty my headset.
