Hi all, The way I work is that I have Teams open on the half of my 3rd small screen (laptop). Today I realized that recent chats pane just stay open which means that actual chat is now 1/4 of the screen.... (small slice) Previously I had to hover over chats icon and then select which chat I want to answer. This feature works when I zoom in A LOT (ctrl +) but it's impossible to work this way. I tried following things: Resize Teams window from both sides Move Teams window from left to right and then resize Unpin/Pin Chats icon Modify settings.json file with different settings...no luck Details: Microsoft Teams version: 24193.1805.3040.8975 Teams Client version: 49/24080212008 Everything works fine under version: 49/24071128825 Can somebody assist please? :) TO SAVE YOUR TIME - USE THIS FIX Go to apps and features found the app > clicked advanced options scroll down to the reset area and choose reset the app this is apparently a glitch that happens sometimes

Same here. Late yesterday afternoon is when it changed on me. I like to keep Teams narrow so the window doesn't take up too much space but now I can't because the left pane won't minimize automatically anymore. SO annoying!! There should at least be an option as to whether or not to hide it automatically and/or be able to adjust the size of each pane. Microsoft, you already know how to do this in OutLook. Why can't you do it in Teams?!?! PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP!!!!

On my computer the autohide ends at 130%. This is not acceptable.I have 1920x1200 resolution on 24" monitor. Not a 4 or 5k monitor with UHD or what else the programmers are testing on. Regards El Greco

How do I make Teams chats auto hide and open only when I hover over them?

Hi all,

Previously I had to hover over chats icon and then select which chat I want to answer.

This happened to one of my coworkers this morning to fix it he:

went to apps and features found the app > clicked advanced options

scroll down to the reset area and choose reset the app

this is apparently a glitch that happens sometimes
