Hi all, The way I work is that I have Teams open on the half of my 3rd small screen (laptop). Today I realized that recent chats pane just stay open which means that actual chat is now 1/4 of the screen.... (small slice) Previously I had to hover over chats icon and then select which chat I want to answer. This feature works when I zoom in A LOT (ctrl +) but it's impossible to work this way. I tried following things: Resize Teams window from both sides Move Teams window from left to right and then resize Unpin/Pin Chats icon Modify settings.json file with different settings...no luck Details: Microsoft Teams version: 24193.1805.3040.8975 Teams Client version: 49/24080212008 Everything works fine under version: 49/24071128825 Can somebody assist please? :) TO SAVE YOUR TIME - USE THIS FIX Go to apps and features found the app > clicked advanced options scroll down to the reset area and choose reset the app this is apparently a glitch that happens sometimes

Hi Feroz, Thanks for information, I will send feedback to Microsoft and wait for some action one day ;) My point here is that this feature is not new, it was fine in previous version of Teams Client. Now it's gone and unfortunately I'm just forced to use it...people don't like to be forced to anything ;) Wouldn't be better to just implement this as an option under Settings ---> Appearance and accessibility ? This way whoever wants this feature can enable it or leave it disabled - choice not prohibition. Thanks for your time. Marek

So it worked Yesterday, then after the update it no longer works and somehow is "Not Feasible"? I mean how much more incompetent in developing software could you possibly sound?

Wait, I literally have this same issue today! I had to double check to see if you actually posted today lol. Ugh this is so annoying! It was working this morning then suddenly changed. It's happened before where I was able to fix it, but I guess it's a new update? Smh

Also just started experiencing this same issue today. Super frustrating! If I zoom to 115% the chat panel hides but then I have to endure large text.

How do I make Teams chats auto hide and open only when I hover over them?

This happened to one of my coworkers this morning to fix it he:

went to apps and features found the app > clicked advanced options

scroll down to the reset area and choose reset the app

this is apparently a glitch that happens sometimes
