When muting my Jabra headset by pulling the mic up, why does it mute me completely and I cannot hear anyone talking?

hi, When muting my Jabra headset by pulling the mic up, why does it mutes me completely and i cannot hear anyone talking? i can only hear people talking if I mute myself in MS teams and not via my headset, this was never the case before. Please help.

    You should have a Realtek audio chip on that system so try to update the Realtek audio driver...

    I've just checked and seems like I have an up-to-date version of Realtek Audio.
    Driver version: 6.0.9509.1

    Driver Date: 4/25/2023

    Which version do you suggest?

    Roll Back Drivers to the 2021 version

    While I tried the sound up/down buttons on the headset while mutes, it would start the sound for a while and go mute again very shortly.

    This is what I did and it worked for me.
    Go to Windows Sound Properties
    and right click on the Jabra option, then select Properties.
    Under General, select Properties again and then go to Drivers.
    Click Roll Back Driver

    Restart your computer and now I can lift the microphone without muting the sound in may headset.
