When muting my Jabra headset by pulling the mic up, why does it mute me completely and I cannot hear anyone talking?

hi, When muting my Jabra headset by pulling the mic up, why does it mutes me completely and i cannot hear anyone talking? i can only hear people talking if I mute myself in MS teams and not via my headset, this was never the case before. Please help.

    Intel Smart Sound Technology for Bluetooth Audio Treiber Version 10.29.0.6367 works fine.. on Surface there is a newer "buggy" version

    Hello,

    we have the same problem with our Evolve2 65. Most of our Notebooks are from HP and as mentioned here with the older version of the sounddriver it is working again. It is working with the USB dongle but not with bluetooth. I am now trying to find out from which driver version the error occurs.

    Now i found out the last working driver version on our HP EliteBook 850 G8.

    With this version the microphone mute function is working as expected. It works with the USB dongle and also with the bluetooth connection.

    Every newer version does not work with the bluetooth connection as we want.

    Example for a non working driver:

    So i think Microsoft can't help us in this case. We have to talk to our vendors (in my case HP) and they have to talk to Intel or Realtek!?

    Workaround or fix? I think the latter!

    Thanks for this information, it's worked fine for me :)

    Edit - worked at first but then like others here seems to revert back to muting all. When repeating the steps, I can hear the group for a split second only before all is muted again :(
