When muting my Jabra headset by pulling the mic up, why does it mute me completely and I cannot hear anyone talking?

I have this same issue with my Jabra Evolve2 65 when connected through bluetooth.

And although the volume button trick on the headset of @jbedoya works, this is not how it should.

Is there any progress on this?

EDIT: with some further testing i found out that the "head-set" mode is not selectable in the dropdown teams.

I remember having 2 "speaker" options in the speaker downdown menu in teams for my headset:

1. Jabra Evolve2 65 (Hands-free) <<< seems missing
2. Jabra Evolve2 65 (stereo)

However in my bluetooth connection setting in WIN11 i see "Speech + Stereo".

This trick didnt work for me. Nothing seems to fix this issue.

a workaround is that after you raise the mic boom arm, click on the lower volume button on the headset (while the Arm still up) the audio will come back live.

is not perfect, was not how it was working until early December, but at least is a work around to still have wireless headset (via PC Bluetooth) without the Jabra's dongle plugged on a port,,

Quick update. Today, Dell recommended an update for my PC. it installed something called DELL PAIR. after that simple installation finished, the headset works perfectly. rising the Mic's arm or pushing the mute button on Jabra headset only mute the Microphone, and not the audio.

This definitively confirms - in my opinion - this is a software / driver issue

I would really like to thank everyone for taking time out to help me with my issue, while nothing really seemed to work, I reached out to Jabra about the issue which I don't know why I didnt do in the first place maybe because I wasn't thinking it's the Jabra issue after all.

However, Jabra reached out to me with their reset instructions and VOILA, it worked. Now my MS teams and Jabra boom arm are in sync and I can still hear people talk when I have muted myself by pulling the mic boom arm up.

I am attaching the instructions for reference for people having a similar issue. Please install Jabra direct on your desktop and follow the steps.

I have the same problem, discovered early January.

Following the reset instructions above, it now works when using the Jabra Bluetooth Dongle. However, when I directly connect the headset to my PC (and I need to, as I do not have sufficient amount of USB ports), the problem still exists.

This seems to have something to do with a recent Windows update that I installed.
