I had the same problem with my new laptop at work. I found a solution on reddit. It looks like a problem with a new driver for "Intel Smart Sound Technology for Bluetooth Audio".

"Try looking at the driver version for Intel Smart Sound Technology for Bluetooth Audio. If you are on version 10.29.0.7767, try rolling it back to the previous version. This resolved the issue for me. The driver version that is working for me is 10.29.0.6367."

This fixed the Problem for me!

    Hi All,

I would really like to thank everyone for taking time out to help me with my issue, while nothing really seemed to work, I reached out to Jabra about the issue which I don't know why I didnt do in the first place maybe because I wasn't thinking it's the Jabra issue after all.

However, Jabra reached out to me with their reset instructions and VOILA, it worked. Now my MS teams and Jabra boom arm are in sync and I can still hear people talk when I have muted myself by pulling the mic boom arm up.

I am attaching the instructions for reference for people having a similar issue. Please install Jabra direct on your desktop and follow the steps.

Reach out here if any issues, I feel like a PRO right now..lol I hope this helps. Have a great day all.

    Same issue here.
First - device is detected as 2 independent devices - 'headphones' and 'headset'

When i open some of calling apps(slack, zoom, telegram) - i have to select 'headset' in audio devices otherwise - no sound. After that any other windows sounds won't play

And the most annoying mute issue - when microphone turned up 'headset' is muted also. I wrote in jabra - they told me, that their 400$ bluethoth headphones does't support bluetooth

I had a similar issue last week. Unpair your Jabra headset from the computer and plug out and back in your Jabra Link USB Bluetooth adapter. Afterwards download and install Jabra Desktop App and use that to connect the headphones with the Jabra Link adapter. If they are connected this way instead of being connected directly via the Bluetooth on your computer you can use all the features as intended. Hope this helps.

I have the same problem, discovered early January.

Following the reset instructions above, it now works when using the Jabra Bluetooth Dongle. However, when I directly connect the headset to my PC (and I need to, as I do not have sufficient amount of USB ports), the problem still exists.

This seems to have something to do with a recent Windows update that I installed.
