When muting my Jabra headset by pulling the mic up, why does it mute me completely and I cannot hear anyone talking?

a workaround is that after you raise the mic boom arm, click on the lower volume button on the headset (while the Arm still up) the audio will come back live.

is not perfect, was not how it was working until early December, but at least is a work around to still have wireless headset (via PC Bluetooth) without the Jabra's dongle plugged on a port,,

Update on June 19

Today, Dell pushed to updates to my network driver and the Jabra Went bananas again.

the workaround still work for me. if I raise the Microphone up, everything goes Mute. I click on the headset volume up and down and up and audio come back

I do the Up, down, up because if volume is on Max, the up alone would not bring back the voices, so I do Volume Up and down and up.

I followed the above directions from Emre, and they are correct ... you can hear audio with the mic up when connected via USB ... but this means the headset only works as intended when connected via cable ... which is not at all desirable for a wireless device.

Something seems to have changed VERY recently ... as this was working with Teams for me in early December. Ugh.
Going to write to Jabra as well, but would love ideas or solutions if anyone out there has found a fix.

Quick update. Today, Dell recommended an update for my PC. it installed something called DELL PAIR. after that simple installation finished, the headset works perfectly. rising the Mic's arm or pushing the mute button on Jabra headset only mute the Microphone, and not the audio.

This definitively confirms - in my opinion - this is a software / driver issue

I've the exact same problem here.

When using Bluetooth, when I pull the mic up to mute myself, I cannot hear anything in Teams.

When using the dongle, it works fine. It uses a usb c port, which is why I prefer Bluetooth.

This started late December, like you, but in my case I had to change laptop. I was thinking this is because of the change as it worked fine with my previous laptop. But it seems to be more a driver / Teams issue as the headset works fine.

1. When I select 'Bluetooth' under speaker, audio device switches to 'customized set up' and on test call I cannot hear anything at all.

2. And in this set up (below), my problem remains the same during test call. cannot hear if my put my headset's mic down to mute myself.
