Giphy/GIFs missing entirely from Microsoft Teams

Option to enable GIFs in messaging policy seems to be missing entirely now. Only Memes and Stickers are available. Was there a feature change or is there something at the administration level that we can do to re-enable this feature?

    Try clicking on the Emoji icon. If it updated like mine Emoji's, GIFs & Stickers will call be in that icon now.

    Nope, mine still looks like this:

    But it works fine with the old teams:

    Update: after I deleted that folder and restarted teams, after 5 minutes I got an update button on the top of teams, which then restarted it and I got the GIF option back again in the new teams. How annoying

    *** UPDATE ***

    It worked for a bit, now it's back to not having the GIF option.

    Which folder did you delete? This just started happening with my Teams today and it's a nightmare! ha

    1.) You need to enable Optional Connected Experiences to allow Giphys in conversations.

    If your admin has given you the ability to use optional connected experiences in Teams, you can go to Settings > Privacy in Teams and choose whether you want to use optional connected experiences.

    2.) Clear cache for New Teams

    Method 2: Delete the files

    1. If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon on the taskbar, and then select Quit.
    2. Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows logo key  +R.
    3. In the Run dialog box, enter the following path, and then select OK.

    ConsoleCopy

        %userprofile%\appdata\local\Packages\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Microsoft\MSTeams
    1. Delete all files and folders in the directory.
    2. Restart Teams.
