Option to enable GIFs in messaging policy seems to be missing entirely now. Only Memes and Stickers are available. Was there a feature change or is there something at the administration level that we can do to re-enable this feature?

Hi, all....this was happening at work and out IT team determined that a recent update to the GIF picker feature contained a configuration issue leading to impact. They pdated the associated configuration and now it seems to work. I'm not sure if that helps any of you at all, but wanted to share.
I was hopeful when I went to try your hack... I'm not given a "public preview" option. :(
Looks like this public preview finally got the combined emoji/gif menu to display. (after I ticked the box and restarted teams).
Now to see if it stays there.
This isn't even showing up for my organization.
I tried the deletion of the folder, too. Only thing that works is Windows key + . A workaround works. I guess I'm luckier than the people that the workaround doesn't work for.
This worked for us as well, looks like gifs got moved to the combined menu!
