Giphy/GIFs missing entirely from Microsoft Teams

What you've offered were but a few of the suggestions I tried when this issue first cropped up in 2022. You would not believe how many solutions I have tried and my organization's ITS have tried. I even had them investigate my Global Account, role attached to my account, etc. It's now been escalated to Microsoft...and they suggested I needed to turn on "optional connected experiences" which was a little frustrating since we'd already detailed the different solutions we've been trying, including clearing caches, uninstalling and reinstalling Office 365...and it should have been assumed that over the course of 2 years, a large IT centre would have thought to turn on Optional Connected Experiences

I have the issue on two different networks and across three devices.

You need to follow these steps:

1. Enable Optional Connected Experiences in Settings->Privacy
2. Sign-out (click your avatar at the top-right and click Sign Out)
   1. Simply closing or quitting the Teams app is not sufficient.
3. Sign back in again.

I’ve tried this and nothing. I’ve been having this issue since the end of 2022 and our company’s microsoft support don’t understand why this has happened. They tried absolutely everything and the only thing they managed was for the gif option to appear a millisecond and disappear again forever. It also disappeared from my iPhone app. Nobody else has this issue in my workplace… ANY update on this Microsoft??

I suddenly lost them about a year and a half ago. No one else in my office did. The IT folks are stumped. We've tried EVERYTHIING, including uninstalling the entire microsoft office suite. I was hoping they might magically reappear with the new Teams, but now such luck. I am also very sad.
