Giphy/GIFs missing entirely from Microsoft Teams

Option to enable GIFs in messaging policy seems to be missing entirely now. Only Memes and Stickers are available. Was there a feature change or is there something at the administration level that we can do to re-enable this feature?

Oh, and one more interesting piece of the puzzle. Microsoft support suggested that maybe my network connectivity was set to block GIFS/GIPHY...except this happens on two different networks (home and office), I can use GIFs everywhere else on my computer, AND I can access GIFs in my Outlook Mail, via the App waffle.... and I can use them in Teams from my Google phone.

My keyboard has a very similar key-- the difference is that it's a alt/option, not option start (although they're probably the same thing?) Anyway, the combination of that key and the period gives me this: ≥

I've tried shift, control, alt/option, and command with the period. No luck. Still sad. But you helped a bunch of other people!! Woohoo!

So I have a keyboard designed for MAC and the key I have to press is the key in between the ctrl key and the cmd/alt key... It says opt/start & then the . key at the same time. See the pic below.

Yea I can't get it to work on my iPad but I can use GIFs on my Galaxy phone.
