Giphy/GIFs missing entirely from Microsoft Teams

Option to enable GIFs in messaging policy seems to be missing entirely now. Only Memes and Stickers are available. Was there a feature change or is there something at the administration level that we can do to re-enable this feature?

    I HAVE MY GIFS BACK!!!

    I cannot believe this took two years, and a million emails back and forth with Microsoft. It just so happens that one of our IT people thought that no one had GIFs, because they didn't have GIFs... so actually, they were having the same issue and didn't even know it. IT spoke with MS directly, and were given a suggestion. You're not going to believe how simple it is-- it's basically, "Did you turn it off and back on again?"

    What threw everyone off track was that when I asked our org to check all my account settings/permissions, it showed that I had those permissions, so we eliminated that as an issue.

    All the IT folks had to do was disable the GIF permission, reenable, and save. Problem solved.

    So far I've emptied caches, uninstalled and reinstalled Team, uninstalled and reinstalled MS Office... MS asked what would happen if I logged in with a different account (which I have). There ya go-- gifs are there. Regardless of computer or network, no gifs available for my account.
