My Airpods Gen 4 is very soft when I am on a Teams call in the app, all the other apps work fine, Chrome and YouTube and even the sound when I am calling someone. When the call is answered the sounds goes down and is set to 100% but I struggle to hear. The Teams on the Web's sound works fine. Thus this is not a problem with the Airpods. Kindly assist how I can fix the Teams app.

    I tried your menthod, using the laptop mic the airpod 4 audio, but volume is still very low with no improvement

    Follow up below steps, it worked for me:

    • Go to Device Manager
    • Expand "System Devices"
    • Find AirPods Hands-Free AG (Mine was labeled "Airpods Pro Hands-Free AG")
    • Right click and open up "Properties"
    • Click the "Driver" tab and "Disable Device"
    • Restart PC and it works

    After making sure all your airPod and Teams and volume settings are good.. if you are on a PC , try this:

    Made proper adjustment by performing the following steps: Press Windows key + R, to open Run dialog box.
    Type mmsys.cpl and click on OK.
    Go to Communications and select "Do nothing"

    I have tried this, but there’s still no improvement. I want to emphasize that I have connected AirPods 4 to MS Teams many times, and the sound is always very quiet. However, there was one time I connected them, and the sound was loud and clear.

    One more thing to try.. which is new, but I just remembered it today when I had to reset my airpods to my PC and had the same problem. With the last big Teams version update, the volume control on Teams does not sync with the volume control on your airpods. Try swiping up on your airpod stem (aka the volume control) and turn it all the way up. Then you should have more volume within Teams.
