My Airpods Gen 4 is very soft when I am on a Teams call in the app, all the other apps work fine, Chrome and YouTube and even the sound when I am calling someone. When the call is answered the sounds goes down and is set to 100% but I struggle to hear. The Teams on the Web's sound works fine. Thus this is not a problem with the Airpods. Kindly assist how I can fix the Teams app.

If you do that, the audio works but not the mic so is not a valid solution sorry. But thank your for your reply.
Any updates on this? Still not working correctly, volume very low and with the fix above you can use the speaker of your airpods but not the microphone so is not really a fix
I also tried using the MS Teams web version and encountered the same issue. This problem has been raised for quite some time, but there still hasn’t been any improvement. It seems like Microsoft doesn’t care about addressing or fixing this issue. I find it very inconvenient in this situation. Do we really have to go back to using the old AirPods?

wanted to say i have the same issue. Just upgraded my airpods to airpods 4 and teams sound is very quite. I haven't yet verified on MS Teams Web , but based on replies this is a good start.
I hope MS will address this
